  eden project
We aim to make Eden as accessible as possible and are working to maximise access for everyone.
Disabled parking is available to those who need it. We offer complimentary wheelchairs. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, and where necessary, each person is allowed free entry for their carer.
Eden is a large site but we provided disabled accessible transport wherever possible. Seating is also provided all over the site. Disabled toilets are abundant and first aid is always available to those who need it. Eden has a team of friendly enthusiastic volunteers who are there to assist anybody with mobility or sensory impairments around the site.  These services are free, please call 01726 818895 or email gdyson@edenproject.com

Bravo Eden ...
As our premier tourist attraction you have done us proud !!
A big thanks to Tim & the whole team.

St Michael's Mount
Manor Office
Marazion TR17 0EF

www.stmichaelsmount.co.uk

We would like everyone to be able to enjoy the magic of St Michael’s Mount. There are ramps at the entrances of the shops, café and restaurant and disabled toilets. There is disabled access to the lower parts of the castle gardens when they are open, while at the harbour there is a continuously-running film about the history of the Mount, so that those who cannot manage the steep, cobbled path right up to the castle can still find out all about it.

Unfortunately, the nature of the harbour makes it very difficult for wheelchair users to get to the Mount by boat.
A sand wheelchair can be hired for free (a small deposit is required) from the Godolphin Arms, the hotel immediately opposite St Michael’s Mount on the mainland – this makes navigating the causeway much easier for wheelchair users. Please call 01736 710202 to book.

Paradise Park, Hayle, Cornwall - Home of the World Parrot Trust

The park has full disabled access, and almost all areas can reached by wheelchair users. (The only exception being the Canadian Otter Hide). All our paths are laid out with gravel, which is compacted down, giving suitable access for wheelchairs and children's buggies. The site is on generally level ground, sloping down to the Fun Farm and the Falconry Field. There is a slightly steeper slope on the way back from the farm area coming up through Parrot Jungle.

Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are available in both the main park area, and in the new JungleBarn play area. The JungleBarn also has a lift allowing disabled visitors access to the mezzanine area along with the upstairs party rooms. All entrance and exit doors are suitable for wheelchair users, and the seating areas in the main cafe allow for wheelchair use - i.e. tables and chairs are not fixed in position.

We do have two wheelchairs for visitors to borrow, and in summer we suggest booking these in advance. There are also reserved car parking spaces directly outside the main entrance to the park. Again, in the high season, these can get used up quickly. Guide dogs can be brought into the park, but we do ask visitors to notify in advance. For further information please call our info line on 01736 751020.

PENCARROW

This is the home of the Molesworth-St Aubyn's and definitely a lived-in house, not a museum! You will see all the things the family loves best, including their photos, hats on the classical statues and the grandchildren's toys left around - just like your home!

Disabled access:
House - The ground floor of the house is accessible to wheelchairs - we have a ramp to put down over the two steps into the house. If you can't walk up the stairs, which are shallow but quite long, you can listen to a video recording of the upstairs tour and then rejoin your group as they come back downstairs. There is at least one chair in each room if you cannot stand for long.
Garden -  The paths are hard and mostly level but the Gardens are listed and old, so we ask for your understanding that it is not all tarmac! There are gentle slopes on the walk to the American Gardens but wheelchair users with strong arms or motors have said it is worth the effort! There are 2 ramps onto and off the grass on the East Lawn. There are steps around the garden. We have a leaflet at the house or Craft Gallery which shows you where these are. The tea rooms and craft gallery are both wheelchair friendly.
Toilets - Toilets are situated near the tea rooms and there is a toilet suitable for disabled use.
